2008 District 9-10 Baseball

Congratulations to Anacortes, the District 11 LL 9-10 Baseball champion! Anacortes defeated Sedro Woolley tonight in a game that featured some high power offense including a lead-off home run, and some fine defensive plays as well. Anacortes will play District 12 on Saturday July 19 at 2 PM in the State Tournament hosted by District 6 and Hazel Dell LL in Vancouver, WA.

Congratulations to Burlington Edison, District 11 10-11 Baseball champions. BE scored a run in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat North Whidbey 6-5. Burlington travels to Auburn to play District 2 in the state tournament on July 19th at 2 PM.

Congratulations to South Skagit National LL, District 11 Little League Baseball champions. South Skagit defeated Central Whidbey tonight the claim the crown. South Skagit will travel to Mill Creek for the state tournament. They will play District 5 on Saturday, July 19th at 11:30 AM. The game will be held at the Mill Creek Sports Park, 15728 Main St.

Congratulations to South Whidbey, who defeated South Skagit National today to win the District 11 Junior Baseball championship. Check the bracket for the score. South Whidbey will play the District 1 champions in the state tournament on Tuesday, July 15th at 8 PM at Skagit Valley College Dream Field.

Sedro Woolley defeated Anacortes tonight in the championship game of this tournament. Congratulations to Sedro Woolley, they are the District 11 9-10 Softball Champions and advance to state, hosted by District 9, to play the team from District 1 at 10 AM on Saturday, July 19th at Everest Field in Kirkland. Sedro Woolley defeated Anacortes tonight in the Championship game at Bakerview Park in Mount Vernon. Congratulations to Sedro Woolley, the District 11 Little League Softball Champions. Sedro Woolley will be traveling to the state tournament in Walla Walla for a game against District 2 this Saturday at 10 AM at the Pacific Little LEague complex in Walla Walla. 2008 District Junior Softball

Congratulations to Sedro Woolley LL, District 11 JRSB champions. They came back through the loser's bracket to beat North Whidbey twice and take the crown. Sedro Woolley will travel to Poulsbo for the state tournament. Their first game will be a tough one against District 1 on Tuesday, July 22, at 3 PM. The tournament will take place at Snider Field Complex, home of North Kitsap LL.

Congratulations to District 4, Columbia LL, 2008 Washington State Junior Baseball champions. District 12 and District 4 were very evenly matched teams, and District 4 needed two games to defeat District 12 and win the banner. Good luck to District 4 in Mission Viejo, CA at Regionals!
